About Me
I am a recent graduate with a Bachelors in Science. I have a passion for teaching Science and Math! I am president of the Alpha Epsilon Delta Honor Society. My club have traveled throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs to tutor Math and Science to students -level K-College!. I am a very dedicated tutor who believe that education is the key to success. Being a tutor allows me to create a relationship with the student on a 1-1 basis while building a relationship with their family.
Experience
I have over 5-7 years as a tutor! I traveled to different homes and libraries to help students learn math and science in a fun way! I worked with Academic Achievement enrichment program for three years and have built GREAT relationships with the students and parents! I am a great mentor to the students who I am partnered with. As a perk, if the students bring their grade from a low grade to an A, I personally will host a free pizza and bowling party to celebrate their hard work!
Approach
As a student, I struggled with Math. Many professors explained the problems fast and it was difficult for me to follow. With the help of a professional college tutor, and persistence, I was able to master Mathematics! I am now able to break down the barriers that students may have when they are doing math problems. It is my obligation to help each student to achieve an A!
