Fun Facts
I am an avid football fan, and played for 12 years, eventually captaining my high school team and helping us reach the playoffs! I am from Closter, New Jersey and have 10 cousins! I am an avid whistler, even though I am not very good. One day, I hope to run my own company.
About Me
I am a Freshman at Vanderbilt University in the Engineering school double majoring in Computer Science and Math. Additionally, I plan to double minor in Corporate Strategy and Engineering Management. In high school, I got a perfect score on the ACT, was ranked third in my class, and got above a 750 on 4 different SAT IIs. Here at Vanderbilt, I have a 3.91 GPA. One day hope to become an entrepreneur and run my own company.
Experience
I have had experience tutoring students before. As a member of the National Honors Society in high school I tutored high school students in a variety of different subjects. I also tutored younger students at my summer camp, helping children ages 6-12 learn study skills and basic concepts of math, english, history, and science. I look forward to beginning to tutor again.
Approach
I have learned through experience that every person is different in the way they learn. I am extremely patient and positive when it comes to my teaching approach, but also understand that some students need to be pushed in order to succeed. I understand that the student's energy will be a reflection of my own, and will bring a great deal of enthusiasm to every tutoring session. I hope to help students learn new material and be ready for all of their future endeavors.
