One of my hobbies is dancing, I danced traditional Indian folk dancing all throughout high school. I helped lead and co-captain one team and joined several high school teams. We were able to perform at concerts and competitions- we even danced at the Oakland Colliseum and the San Francisco Giants game! About Me

I am a nursing student at the University of San Francisco, originally from Los Gatos, CA. I am in my third year of nursing school and I absolutely love it! I love the patient-nurse relationship and the amount of care I can provide for my patients. I cannot wait to graduate in 2014 and look forward to achieving my goals of being a Pediatric Nurse.

I have experience tutoring a 7th grader who recently moved from China. She has improved dramatically and is really understanding the terms in her science class. I really was blown away when she told me she now has the confidence to speak up in class and answer her questions or even read the textbook aloud in class. I am so happy I have the opportunity to help her with her school work and to improve her confidence.

I truly believe in listening to the students and talking to them about what they feel is the hardest part about their school work and tailoring my approach to that. On a second note, I really love the fact that frog tutoring emphasizes working with the teacher to keep the students ahead on all the topics. Lastly, I really believe that understanding and helping students with issues besides schoolwork (confidence, trust, friendship, and emotions...etc) are truly essential in a child's youth. I really believe in my students and will work my hardest to help them improve in all areas.
