About Me
I am a Sophomore at Belmont University studying Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and French. I was in IB in high school and my future plans are to do research and teach at the colligate level. I plan on going for my Ph.D at Vanderbilt in Nashville in Immunology.
Experience
I currently work for Belmont University as a French tutor. In past years I have only done personal appointments with family and friends, mostly unpaid. I am however very passionate and very well rounded.
Approach
In 8th grade, I took a learning test and discovered that people learn in cwrtain ways. For me, as an audio/visual learner I take a similar approach in teaching. Writing things out while explaining in as much detail as possible the concepts of the work.I have also learned through past experience that being upbeat and passionates goes a long way in boosting the students interest in a subject area.

Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
Chemistry I Tutoring
I am a Biochemistry and Molecular major, so far I have taken two years of general chemistry both at the High school and college level. Currently I am sitting at a 97% in Gen. Chem. in college and plan to continue into Organic Chemistry next semester.
Biology I Tutoring
I am a Biochemistry and Molecular Biology major. I have taken a total of four years of biology including High school (AP, IB and Honors) as well as College level. I was a diploma candidate for IB in which one of my test subject was Biology, I passed the AP exam and my grade in Biology in college is currently an A-.
French Tutoring
I have been studying French for 8 years. I passed both the AP and IB tests in High school, tested into Junior level French in college, where it is my minor. I currently stand at a GPA average of 3.5 in college French.

I have taken mostly Chemistry and Biology at the middle and high school levels, however, I am proficient in most general applications of scientific inquiry such as physics, earth science and environmental science. I am more than capable to tutor in any general science.
Study Skills Tutoring
I am currently a college student studying Biochemistry and Molecular Biology as well as French. In high school I was an International Baccalaureate student where I tested out in a total of 12 AP/IB classes over four years. I was also an active member of both high school and community theatre. Time management, test taking, and studying are all skills in which I am quite proficient.
Middle School Math Tutoring
I am a STEM student in college, studying Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. In middle and high school I was in Honors math and have currently taken up to Algebra and Statistics in college. Throughout my schooling I have taken and passed geometry, algebra I & II, and Statistics.
