Fun Facts
I love to sing, and used to compete in show choir in high school. Even though I still enjoy singing I do not feel that I could sing in front of others again.
About Me
I am a graduate student at St. Mary's University completing my Masters in Clinical Mental Health this summer. I am also in the PhD. program for Counseling, Education, and Supervision, which I should complete my Spring of 2018. Upon graduation, I hope to teach Psychology and Counseling courses at a university, as well as counsel families who have a child with a mental or physical disability.
Experience
I have tutored numerous colleagues pertaining to statistics and counseling courses. I am also employed as a research assistant and frequently utilize SPSS statistics, as well as write research articles. I have taught classes in some of my courses as a way to practice my skills as a future professor. I believe that through Frog Tutoring I can use my skills to help others in practice and perfect their skills in areas that need assistance anywhere from grades PreK to the collegiate level.
Approach
When I was young I found writing difficult and spent a large amount of time attempting to write a well structured paper. Through the help of a teacher in middle school I was able to figure out a proper, and easy structure that I could apply to any paper. I always loved math and excelled within my courses. I always found myself helping others around me by listening to how they interpret information and finding solutions that fit the way they processed information, such as visually or auditory.
