About Me
I am currently studying Marketing, Finance, and Journalism at Creighton University. I hope to graduate in 2016 and become a news broadcaster, focusing in business journalism. Ever since I was young, I wanted to have a career in the journalism field, and I hope to spread knowledge through television news!
I believe that having previous experience as a omaha">tutor is what helps me become such a great omaha">tutor. Something as casual as a study group with friends has helped me become a better teacher, omaha">tutor, and mentor. During my senior year of high school, I volunteered and tutored a 3rd grader in Math. I have worked with all age groups, and this is something that has helped me become more flexible, open minded, and adaptable to all students.
Because I am flexible and adaptable to all of my student's needs, my omaha">tutoring approach is very personalized. I know that we are all different learners, and because of that, I will teach each student at different paces, I will use different methods, and I will use different styles. For example, some students may require a slower pace, while others may prefer to work at a faster pace. Some different methods that I may incorporate are games, rather than a typical flash card studying style. Through all of my different methods, I hope to teach in the student's best learning style!
