Fun Facts
I'm a pretty easy going person and love to create with my hands. I play guitar, practice various types of art, was a motocross champion of Southern Maine, and love animals! While I can be laid back in certain areas of my life, school has always been my focus. I strive for success in everything I do and you'll often see me dressed like I'm expecting it!
About Me
My name is Steve (yes with a 'v') and I grew up in the cold reaches of the United States in Maine. As of right now, I reside in Virginia for undergraduate and (hopefully) graduate school at VCU! Back home, I'm whats known as 'from away,' but I'm enjoying the big city life too much to care about that right now! I love science, cars, music, art, animals, and writing.
I've had a little experience being a richmond">tutor to fellow peers during my college career. I generally have worked in large groups and one on one with peers, but I've enjoyed working in both dynamics. I'm confident in my abilities and hope I can help students reach their goals!
My approach to richmond">tutoring boils down to one phrase: keeping the interest! I believe that it is most important to make learning fun and dynamic, not monotonous! Working on one aspect of a subject can get boring and less productive over time, so I try to break up the material to keep the ball rolling.
