People see me as always "thinking". If there is something that needs solving, my wheels keep turning in my head until I come up with something. I love watching gymnastics and tennis.

About Me

I am the director of engineering for a small company and have worked my way through designing and implementing control systems in the Oil and Gas Industry through a functioning engineering manager to this position. I like to be challenged and have just obtained my PMP (Project Management Professional) license.

Experience

Even when I was in High School in Germany, I tutored younger children weekly. I have helped elementary school age children during my years as an Au-Pair and tutored high school exchange students that have stayed with me in the most recent years. I am currently tutoring German online to all ages.

Approach

I believe in challenging the student but not too much so that they are overwhelmed and frustrated. There are many ways to reach a solution and positive feedback makes it more fun. I encourage the students to work through problems or concepts and help them reach the conclusion on their own. There are no stupid questions, ask away! This will show them their true potential and promote confidence that they can do it on their own.
