I'm the second girl of a three-sister's family from Sri Lanka. Unlike my sisters who mainly focus on studies (making my parents happy), I have always been wanting to both study (Science) and play basketball. Now I have moved to USA and despite my busy schedule, even today I try to do both studying and playing basketball. But now my parents are proud of me!

About Me

My objective in austin">tutoring is to contribute in the shaping of knowledge-seeking students in the field of biology, chemistry, biochemistry, and it has been my passion for years. When I was a little kid, I used to help my younger sister with her homework and exams. My mom loved it because that made her job a lot easier.

I have gained experience in teaching and austin">tutoring at different levels. After completing my B.S. degree, I started working as an Assistant Lecturer. I also have experience working as a teaching assistant during my M.S. studies. My duties as an assistant lecturer and a teaching assistant were to organize and conduct chemistry and biochemistry laboratory for undergraduate students and grading lab reports and exams, and austin">tutoring and helping students during office hours.

My main teaching approach is to understand the level of each individual student and austin">tutor them in a way they understand. I seek feedback from the students about the previous chapter before moving to the next chapter. This helps to create a good austin">tutor-student relationship and to understand the student's strengths and weaknesses.
