Fun Facts

- I have lived in seven different cities in the United States. My family moved around a lot while I was growing up. It was nice to see so much of the country and to make friends from coast to coast.
- I love travelling to different countries. This past summer, I went to Uganda to film a documentary. It was a great experience!
- Baking and painting are two of my hobbies. I also enjoy acting, singing, and tap dancing. Musicals are my favorite!

About Me

I am a senior Film Studies major at Columbia University. I love telling stories and aspire to be a professional screenwriter. I am passionate about the arts and desire to use such creative mediums to "share life" with others.

At Columbia, I volunteer with a group called Artists Reaching Out, who teach weekly after-school classes at an elementary school in Harlem. I work with a co-leader to develop lesson plans for my class and instruct groups of students in theatre related activities. As a college essay writing instructor, I teach high school students the fundamentals of essay construction. I work with students both in groups and one-on-one, editing and workshopping their essays until they feel confident with the pieces they've penned.

As a tutor, I like for students to feel empowered during our sessions. Academic work can often seem overwhelming, but I remind my students that they are capable of handling the challenges they encounter. I am dedicated to seeing students excel and am prepared to patiently walk beside them with guidance, instruction, and encouragement until they meet their goals.
