Fun Facts

I love sports and aspire to one day be a sports journalist. I sing, play golf, write, play the piano and hang out with friends often. I have an older sister who's graduating from college this year and a dog named Lucky at home. My favorite movie is Remember the Titans, and I listen to all different types of music.

About Me

I am currently a student at TCU, originally from Overland Park, Kansas. I am a very outgoing and a people-oriented person; I love learning more about others and building relationships. Also, I'm easily relatable and friendly and will do anything to help others.

My previous tutoring experiences came in high school in my Gifted Education class. In this class, when others had issues with schoolwork, they looked to their peers or upperclassmen to help them with their problems. I worked with many friends and underclassmen on improving their grades, studying, homework and projects.

I have multiple tutoring approaches, many of which center around addressing the problem before finding a solution. I like to ask why a person is having an issue or not understanding a question, and then proceed to answer that before solving the problem. This way, the student is able to assess their own thought process, understand more about the subject, and create a foundation that they can build upon - rather than simply memorizing an answer or steps to get to an answer.
