About Me

I am a PhD student in statistics at chicago">University of Illinois at Chicago. I just finished my second year. My ultimate goal is to become a Statistician/Data Scientist in industry.

Experience

I have been a teaching assistant at chicago">University of Illinois at Chicago for 2 years. The courses I've tutored including Intermediate Algebra, Mathematical Reasoning, Precalculus, and Introduction of Statistics. Also, I have been working at math learning center at UIC, and have tutored different level of courses including undergraduate and graduate level courses. Besides chicago">tutoring for college students, I also have some experiences of chicago">tutoring primary school students with their Mandarin.

Approach

I have a passion for chicago">tutoring, full of patients, and upbeat personality. I always like to try to understand my students' way of thinking, and follow their logic to give an explanation, which helps my students to understand it, and memorize it more easily.
