Fun Facts

I am a college student, currently working on getting my masters to become a education/illinois/chicago">Special Education teacher. On my off time, I enjoy going to park, riding my bike and trying out new restaurants in the area.

About Me

I currently have a Bachelors in Business Administration, I worked in areas such as marketing, human resources, and management. After working with students, as part time job, to go back to school for my masters in Accounting, I realized how much I missed working with students ( I was a peer buddy in High School), and assisting them in learning, mastering skills, and reaching their goals.

Experience

I am currently a education/illinois/chicago">special education teacher's aid, and have been a teachers aid in a general classroom setting as well. I have done chicago">tutoring for Spanish in High School and college as well.

Approach

When I am working with new students, I like to observe the student first and see what learning style works best for them. I then try to apply the best method to keep the student engaged and learning. I am also a fan of positive reinforcement, as well as a reward chart.
