Fun Facts
There is nothing I love more than being outdoors. I love hunting, fishing and hiking and would be there all the time if I could. I also enjoy helping others a lot. It makes me feel awesome to see someone consistently improve over a period of time and to know hat I had some part of that.
About Me
I am a recent graduate from Georgia State University with a degree in Biology. To get this degree, I have taken all sorts of classes from biology, chemistry, organic, and biochem. I have never gotten anything less than a B in any of my college classes. I am currently studying for my GRE in hopes of getting into a occupational therapy or physical therapy program where I can help people heal and improve physically and mentally.
Experience
I have had one year experience with a previous atlanta">tutoring company that also did private atlanta">tutoring. The students that I have tutored were from elementary school to middle school. With them, I helped with their understanding of the material as well as provide practice problems and assignments to lock in the material. In college, I was a Teaching Assisstant for an Organic Chemistry 1 class where I helped students with questions and materials they did not understand. I also proctored and graded exams.
Approach
Personally, I think that practice makes perfect. You can sit there and read the material over and over again but you won't really understand it until you do problems yourself and practice. Then check over you answers and see where you went wrong and doc those mistakes. I also think that the most simple and easiest way to learn something is the best. Memorizing material and knowing material are completely different things.

Biochemistry Tutoring
I have taken Biochemistry in college and got a B+ in it. I throughly enjoy the subject because it ties organic chemistry and biology together. I have also taken microbiology classes to further strengthen my understanding.

Algebra Tutoring
I excelled in math in High School and it is still fresh in my mind. I took Ap Calculus AB in high school and scored a 5 on the exam with minimal effort. Math is one of my stronger subjects so I would be able to explain in terms that would be easily understood and teach techniques that worked for me as well.
