Fun Facts
Ever since a child, I have been a soccer fan. I still remember myself eagerly watched the World Cup in 2002, when I was 7 years old. I also recently got into basketball, as I am enjoying the NBA final that is going on currently. I am a Vietnamese-American, and I actually lived in Vietnam for more than half of my life. In my free time, I like to surf the web, playing video games with my friends, and going to the movies.
About Me
I am a senior Electrical Engineering major at the Ohio State University. I also have a minor degree in General Business. My future goal is to potentially come back to Ohio State for the Master of Business Administration.
Experience
I had an opportunity to columbus">tutor at a local middle school during my junior and senior year in high school. It was originally a chess columbus">tutoring for the chess club, and eventually the students in the chess club asked me to columbus">tutor them Math subjects, and I of course was happy to do so. I also tutored my little throughout his education career, as math is one of his biggest weaknesses.
Approach
My family migrated to the United States of America 9 years ago. Like most immigrants, I did not know any English. I struggled in school due to the lack of understanding of the language. My 8th grade English teacher noticed my struggles and helped me out greatly. Thanks to her, I realized that it was not my inability to learn, but my attitude of giving up too easily that prevented me from learning English. As a columbus">tutor, I will try my best to bring out the potential in each student.

Electrical Engineering
Pre Calculus Tutoring
I took Pre Calculus during my junior year of high school and received grade A for it. During my senior year of high school, I tutored several Pre Calculus students who sought help with the subject. I also tutored my little brother with Pre Calculus earlier this year.
Elementary Statistics Tutoring
I took a Probability and Statistics for Engineers during my junior year of college and received a high grade for it. I tutored my little brother with his statistic class during his senior year of high school.
Algebra Tutoring
I took Algebra I and Algebra II during my freshman and sophomore year of high school respectively, and received grade A for both classes. I was asked by my algebra teachers to help other students during class sessions with in -class assignments and homework.
Math Tutoring
My 8th grade math teacher gave me the nickname "math machine" . I have taken courses that would make me a qualified tutor, such as Pre Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, etc. I tutored middle school students, along with my brother during his middle school years, with various Math subjects.
Middle School Math Tutoring
I have taken courses that would make me a qualified tutor, such as Pre Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, etc. I tutored middle school students, along with my brother during his middle school years, with various Math subjects.
Pre Algebra Tutoring
I received grade "A" in Pre Algebra. I was asked by the Pre Algebra teacher to help out classmates who struggled in the course. I also tutored middle school students, along with my brother with Pre-Algebra.
Elementary Math Tutoring
Besides helping out my little brother, I do not have specific experience regarding tutoring Math Elementary. However, I believe that my knowledge in the Math courses I have taken throughout the years would make my qualify to be a competent tutor for Math Elementary.
ACT Math Tutoring
I scored the maximum score of 36 in Math subject when I took the ACT in high school. I helped out my peers in the STEM (Science, Math, Engineering, and Mathematics) club to prepare for their ACT Math test. I also tutored my little brother to prepare for his ACT Math test.
MATLAB Tutoring
I have been using MATLAB throughout my college journey. I also took a MATLAB course last semester to strengthen my MATLAB skills, and received a good grade. MATLAB has been a crucial tool for my major courses.
