Fun Facts
Recently I have fallen in love with gardening--inspired by my grandfather who tuned his inner city backyard into a mini-farm decades ago. He is 90 years old now, and has bequeathed his garden to me. I am so proud and excited to follow in his footsteps growing all kinds of vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers.
About Me
I am currently a graduate student at the maryland/baltimore">baltimore">University of maryland/baltimore">Baltimore in the Interaction Design and Information Architecture M.S. program with a 4.0 GPA. I spent my undergraduate years at ithaca-college">Ithaca College studying Communications, and graduated magna cum laude in 2010 with a 3.8 GPA.
Experience
As a Girl Scout I was involved in several programs that involved training and maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutoring younger girls. In high school I joined a club where were paired with middle school students for maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutoring and mentoring. I have a passion for helping people, and most importantly the patience and understanding that are essential to teaching.
Approach
Each student has a unique set of strengths, weaknesses, interests, and experiences. The key to being a good maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutor is first understanding the student as an individual in order to cater to his or her learning style. My approach to teaching is inspired by the best teachers I've had, and my ultimate goal is to inspire those I teach to share my passion for learning.

My undergraduate GPA was 3.8 and my current graduate school GPA is 4.0. I attribute those grades to my strong study skills. One of my greatest strengths is organization, which has been the key to my success.
