Fun Facts

My greatest love is dancing, which I have done since 3. I am trained in ballet, jazz, tap, African, modern, contemporary, and lyrical. I was a competition dancer for 3 years. I also did competition cheer for a few years. I also have been on a swim and tennis team. I went to a magnet high school for musical theatre. My favorite place to go is California for the beaches and mountains. This spring 2016 I went to Mexico City Mexico to study abroad. Lastly, I have an older sister and younger brother.

About Me

I am a summer 2016 graduate of Georgia State University. I will have a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a Spanish Minor. I was on the Dean's List for Fall 2015. I am looking to work with the Federal Reserve in the next coming months.

Experience

My experience comes from my classroom experience. I always look for ways to understand concepts and then how I can help others as well. I have done many study groups while in school to help classmates prepare for exams and excel on homework or other assignments/projects. And I also have helped my youngest sibling who is now in high school, during their elementary, middle and current years to make sure they are comprehending what is being taught in the classroom.

Approach

Throughout life I have always been intrigued with the mind. When coaching someone, I look to first see how they are understanding a concept and then I figure out how I can enhance their understanding or use another method that will make the concept more comprehensible. I also like to use methods that past teachers and professors have used, where I saw various students were able to understand and easily grasp the concept.
