One passion I have is travelling. I have been travelling around US and other countries. When an opportunity shows up, there I go. The only restriction is money. Another great passion is bicycling. I have done tours around lake Okeechobee in Florida and Old Cutler Road and it is really a pleasure. Bicycling always makes me feel young and free.

About Me

I have been teaching math for years both High school and College. I graduated in Mathematics and Education and also graduated in Electronic Engineering. Most of my working life I have been either on the Math/Stats business as a teacher or on computer related activities like web development and database.

I just retired and now I am dedicating my time to tutoring High School and College students struggling with Stats or test preparation. Working for Frog Tutoring gives me the opportunity to help even more students with their math classes in all levels. It is a rewarding experience to impact their lives as they advance in their future careers.

Tutoring students is not giving them answers for the immediate needs, a worksheet or a test, but help them with their study skills and to understand the concepts involved. Sometimes it is just a matter of getting the right concept and skills that for some reason they missed in their classes, to transform the learning of Math into an enjoyable experience.

Experience

After teaching High School Math for many years, I retired and started working with small groups of students in need to master Math concepts, through Learnit Systems (Title I ). I also substitute at Seminole Ridge High School and have my private tutoring in Math.

Approach

My students need encouragement and persistence to reach their goals. My mission is to get them engaged using visual tools, clear examples, real world applications that make learning more efficient and less tedious. I am not providing answers to their questions but leading them to the answer in a way that they will be capable of retaining the concept and apply to similar situations.
