Fun Facts

I used to dance on a competitive team and I still love to dance and take classes! My friends always see me randomly breaking out into dance if a song is playing (and I sometimes sing along even though I'm not very good). I also love to bake and cook; I would say it's my form of therapy. Spring and Summer are my favorite times of year because the sun and outdoor activities make me very happy!

About Me

I am a Freshman at the University of Arizona in the Honors College. I graduated my high school 6th in my class and have taken honors and AP classes throughout middle school and high school. I'm from Sacramento, CA but I love Arizona because of the weather and the U of A has so much spirit! My major is Psychology and I hope to work with people who have depression.

I have tutored countless friends in math, as well as elementary school kids in French. Additionally, I worked at a sleep-away summer camp during the summer of 2012 and was a counselor for grades 5-9. I am so excited to be a part of Frog tucson">Tutoring so I can help students love school as much as I always have!

I think the hardest part about school is having to learn things you aren't interested in. So, I think it's crucial to make learning something fun and realize that it's beneficial to you. Moreover, it has always been important for me to have teachers and role models who treat me like I am capable. So, I make sure to break a topic down as simply as possible while still maintaining respect for the student and encouraging them because every student IS capable.
