Fun Facts

I was a competitive gymnast for 16 years! I competed on Brown University's gymnastics team, and I still love being upside down. I grew up on the east coast and just moved to San Francisco. I love exploring the city and all the surrounding nature. I also love listening to music and dancing with friends.

About Me

I graduated from Brown University in 2015 with a degree in Biology. While I was at Brown, I did research at a local children's hospital and conducted experiments in a lab in the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology department. I worked in Boston for the past year at an executive search firm specializing in the biotech and life sciences industries. I am hoping to get involved in the mental health/tech scene in San Francisco.

Experience

During high school, I tutored students in geometry and coached girls ages 5-12 in recreational and competitive gymnastics classes. During college, I was named captain of the gymnastics team and served as a mentor and coach for all the women on the team.

Approach

I believe that a positive and fun learning environment combined with hard work and practice will allow students to reach their full potential. I strive to create this atmosphere in all of my tutoring sessions. Additionally, through my coaching experiences, I have learned that everyone learns differently. I enjoy figuring out what methods work best for each individual and implementing those methods to help each student achieve success.
