Fun Facts
I'm a fun quirky girl who loves to snowboard, ski, and play trombone. I also like to rock out to alternative music and workout to electronic dance music. I also have this passion for cooking and this love for food, and who doesn't love food? My favorite chef of all time is Julia Child, she showed me that anyone can cook french cuisines through patience and a positive attitude. I live in a family of four, my mom, dad, and younger sister. I love my family very much and they come first in my life.
About Me
I am currently an undergraduate student at Georgia State University who majors in chemistry, and I plan on graduating this Summer 2018. I am currently the treasurer for chemistry club and I have been TAing for organic labs for some time.
Experience
Throughout my years at Georgia State University, I've had an opportunity to become a Learning Assistant for the calculus based physics labs in our school. I have also helped my sister with AP Physics, AP Calculus, and AP Chemistry. I have also been a Teacher's Assistant for multiple chemistry labs at Georgia State University. I TAed for Chemistry 1 labs, Chemistry 2 labs, Organic Chemistry 1 labs, and Organic Chemistry 2 labs. Overall, I treat and respect my students as if they are adults.
Approach
As a college student, I realize that balancing life is fairly difficult, and as students we try our best to help each other and support each other. Over the past years of duluth">duluth">tutoring my sister and TAing for a plethora of students, I was able to see that anyone can overcome challenging math and science courses in an environment that is supportive, patient, and encouraging. As a Frog duluth">duluth">Tutor, I attempt to bring this environment to all of my sessions instead of giving the students answers.
