Religion Tutoring

As a PhD-trained specialist in Medieval Studies, much of my research centers on the relationship between Christianity, Islam, and Judaism during the period of the Crusades. I am fascinated by religious history and have experience tutoring students in Religion courses.

During my time, my students averaged a 250 point jump in SAT (old version) and a 3 point jump in ACT. Although I love math I had to reteach myself some of the SAT concepts, which makes me an excellent resource for those struggling with some of the math concepts on the test.

In addition to my four years working at a test prep company, I am a graduate school veteran, having earned both a MA (2011) and PhD (2014) from the University of Texas at Austin. Although my concentration is in literature, I actually scored higher on the math section of the GRE. I'm happy to help you with any aspect of the applying-for-grad school process.
