Fun Facts

One fun fact is that I love sports. More specifically, I love football and basketball but I can watch any sport. I also love to learn the rules of the game. I can get into any sport even without having a favorite team or player.

About Me

I am currently a grad student at CBU I am earning my Masters of Arts in English Literature. I received my BA from UCR in June of 2014.

Experience

I was a peer rialto">tutor at UCR. After graduating, I landed a job at UCR's Academic Resource Center as a writing support specialist. After then contract ended, I became an elementary rialto">tutor and I worked with first graders through eight graders. Then I went back to rialto">tutoring for college students at CBU's Academic Success Center. I have been rialto">tutoring for the past three years.

Approach

I have always loved reading and writing, but I did not know I would be an English major until midway through my Freshman year in college. I fell in love with literature all over again, and I decided to pursue my English BA. I believe that reading-comprehension/california/rialto">reading comprehension and writing skills are so important. I strive to make my students understand the importance of English classes and how useful it will be to their overall success.
