Biology I Tutoring

I took Biology 1 my freshman year of college and made an A. Being a biology major, I have to take a biology class every year and these classes build on Biology 1. I am also studying for the MCAT, and biology is a huge component of this. Due to all of this, I have a sound understanding of this subject.

Chemistry I Tutoring

I took Chemistry 1 my freshman year and scored one of the highest scores in the class with a 98% on the final. I have a minor in chemistry and have taken a chemistry class every semester. in college. I am also studying large amounts of chemistry for the MCAT and so I have a good deal of knowledge on the subject. I helped tutor several of my friends while taking this class.

Algebra Tutoring

I took algebra in middle school, a year early, and made straight A's. My dad has a doctorate in math and he helped me in all my math courses to fully understand the material. I tutored a student in algebra when I was in high school for a semester.

Biology Tutoring

I took both pre-AP biology and AP biology in high school and made straight A's in both those subjects.I am also majoring in biology right now and take several biology courses every semester. As an NHS tutor, I had experience tutoring a high schooler in biology.

Biology AP Tutoring

I took AP Biology my senior year of high school and loved it so much I decided to make it my college major. I made consistent A's in the class and I scored a 5 on the AP exam which is the highest score you can make. My little brother just took AP biology and I helped him with studying for the exam and he also made a 5. I have learned through personal experience, and through helping others, how to be successful in this class.

Chemistry Tutoring

I took chemistry in high school and earned all A's in the class. I also have completed a chemistry minor while in college. My chemistry teacher in high school was one of my favorites and he instilled a great interest in this subject.

Pre Algebra Tutoring

I took pre algebra in middle school and earned straight A's in the class. My dad is a math professor and he has taught me tips and skills to be able to analyze and answer the problems correctly. I have tutored in pre algebra while in high school.

Science Tutoring

Being a biology major, I take 3-4 science courses every semester encompassing all areas of science. In high school, I earned straight A's in every single science course I took. I also have tutored several high schoolers in biology and chemistry.

Reading Comprehension Tutoring

Reading comprehension is a huge part of English and I have made A's in every single English class I've ever taken. I have always had a love for reading and analyzing books. In the past I tutored several students in English and reading.

Homework Coach Tutoring

When I was a member of PALS, one of our jobs was to help our pal succeed in the classroom. I would help them with their homework and check over it to see where I could help them and so that they could make a good grade on it. I had experience doing this with eight different kids over two years and would do it on a weekly basis.

Elementary Math Tutoring

I have helped with tutoring elementary school kids in all subjects for several years and math is a subject where I have had the most experience. This is an important subject because of the standardized testing in Texas. Through my experience I have learned how to help the kids understand this subject so they can be successful on these tests. During grades 1-12 I made straight A's in every math course I took.

Elementary Statistics Tutoring

I took elementary statistics my freshman year and had one of the top scores in the class so I didn't have to take the final. I made a high A in it. We use a lot of statistics in several of my biology classes so I have been applying the knowledge I learned in that class ever since.

Nutrition Tutoring

I took this course last semester and earned a high A in it. I found nutrition really interesting because of its relation to health of the human body. Nutrition is a big part of healthcare and working in healthcare is my ultimate goal.

Physics I Tutoring

I earned an A in the lecture and lab component of this course and had one of the highest scores in my class, earning a 95% on the midterm. I am also currently studying for MCAT and reviewing everything I learned in physics to prepare for it. Physics plays a vital role in all biology and chemistry courses so its important to have a solid foundation in this course which I feel I have.

Physics II Tutoring

I took physics 2 last semester and earned an A in it. I took a lecture and a lab component. For my final, I had to do in depth research in an area of this subject and present an extensive project about it which really helped solidify my understanding of this subject.

History Tutoring

History was always a strong subject for me. In high school I made straight A's in every single history class I took all four years. On the AP history exam, I made a 5 which is the highest score you can make. In my free time, I love reading books and watching documentaries on all different historical topics.

Pre Calculus Tutoring

I took pre-calculus in high school and earned straight A's in the class. My dad has a doctorate in math and he helped me understand the subject very well as well as teaching me tips and methods to do each problem. When I took the AP Calculus exam, I made a 5 which is the highest score you can make.

Study Skills Tutoring

To be successful in high school and college, one must learn the best way to study for them. I have found a method that works really well for me and I love sharing it with my friends and classmates. Throughout my experience tutoring, I have helped students develop their own way to be successful studying.

English Tutoring

I have earned A's in every single English class I've taken from 1st-12th grade. I have also scored very highly on the AP English 3 and 4 exams. I have helped tutor students of various ages in reading, writing, and grammar.

Math Tutoring

I have made A's in every single math class I have ever taken from 1st grade math to college math classes. My dad has a doctorate in math and has taught me how to understand and do math like a professor. I have tutored several students in math in previous years.

Social Studies Tutoring

Every year from grades 1-12, I had to take a from of social studies and I also got a high A in those classes. These were usually my favorite subjects, especially history and I have been tutoring in this subject since my freshman year in high school.
