Fun Facts
One of my biggest hobbies right now is triathlons. I have competed in two triathlons- sprint and olympic distance and currently training for a half IRONMAN. I love trying new activities and adventuring to new places. I want to travel to as many places as I can in my lifetime.
About Me
I am a senior Human Development and Family Science major at the Ohio State University. I have been on the dean's list many semesters during my college career. I plan on obtaining my masters in education in Middle Childhood Education-Math and Language Arts once I graduate undergrad. My ultimate goal is to become a seventh grade math teacher.
Experience
As the oldest of three children, I have helped my siblings in various subjects throughout the years. I began columbus">tutoring other students at the end of the 2014-2015 school year and quickly found I had a passion to teach math.
Approach
Math is a subject that many students find difficult and not enjoyable. As someone who loves math, I want to help these students fully understand math by showing them ways that it applies to their lives as well as different and nonstandard ways to learn math.

Algebra Tutoring
This is my main expertise. I have tutored many students in Algebra 1. When I took Honors Algebra 1 in eighth grade I received an A.
Algebra II Tutoring
I took Honors Algebra II in high school and received a B. I have tutored some high school students in this subject. I enjoy algebra and want all students to understand it.
Chemistry Tutoring
I took Honors Chemistry in high school and got an A in Chemistry A and a B in Chemistry B. I have helped a student last year with Chemistry while he had a substitute teacher who did not really teach. I am particularly good at tutoring topics in Chemistry that deal with math such as stoichiometry.
Geometry Tutoring
I took Honors Geometry in high school and received an A. I have tutored a couple students in this subject and one of my best teachers was my geometry teacher who I am still in contact with.
Pre Algebra Tutoring
I want to be a middle school math teacher so pre-algebra is a focus of my college classes. I have a strong passion for math and nailing down topics in pre-algebra is important for future success in other math subjects.
