Fun Facts
I came to the United States six years ago. At the time, I did not know how to speak nor understand the language. I spent my every nights translating every single word of my school notes for understanding. Sometimes, when I struggle badly, I broke down crying due to stress. Everyone I know has once casted doubt on my ability. Yet, I managed to try my hardest and finally graduated as a Salutatorian of Sam Houston High School in Arlington, Texas.
About Me
I graduated with Biology major at Texas Christian University and a double minor of Chemistry and Spanish. I am also a Community Scholar, who received a full academic ride to attend TCU. I've been on both TCU Scholar and Dean's List for my first semester at TCU. I am currently attending medical school.
Experience
During high school, I volunteered at a local elementary school and tutored elementary students with their math and writing for 2 years. As a sister of four little siblings, I also helped them with their homework at home. I am confident to say that I am good at explaining and delivering information to students.
Approach
I strongly believe that success is reachable when one tries his hardest. I want to help students reaching their fullest potential. I will achieve that objective by being both a mentor and a motivator because often times, students need a push, a little encouragement, a motivation to help them strive.
