Fun Facts
I like Physics, astronomy, and technology. My hobbies are photography, biking, and occasionally exercising at the UCI ARC. I've been trying to learn how to play the piano and I hope I'll be moderate at it one day.
About Me
I was born and grew up in Germany and moved to American at the age of 10. I'm currently entering my senior year at UCI majoring in Physics. I'm either going to pursue a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or science/california/irvine">Computer Science, I haven't decided yet.
Experience
I used to irvine">tutor for MSI Learning Center in La Mirada. I mostly tutored elementary kids and high schoolers. It was my first job where I interacted with kids and I really enjoyed it. I learned that when you can try to make learning fun, the kids tend to enjoy it more. Also a good attitude towards the subject helps.
Approach
Growing up I mostly had difficult learning math the way the teacher taught it. I studied by myself most of the time and learned how math works on my own. I would cover up the answers and try to get to the answer before looking at it. When I made mistakes, I would trace back to my steps and see what I did wrong to learn from it.

Physics
Calculus I Tutoring
I took calculus 1 in high school and finished up to calculus 4 in college. I got a B in calculus 1 and passed the AP Calc test with a score of 3. I have never tutored in this subject before but I have helped my friends before.
Chemistry I Tutoring
I took chemistry 1 about a year and a half ago and it was really fundamental to me. A lot of the topics overlapped with my high school chemistry class so it was easier for me.
College Algebra Tutoring
I took algebra 2 and pre calculus in high school which I think is similar to College Algebra. I've done numerous tutoring for this subject because a lot of people are struggling with it. It's one of my favorite math classes.
German Tutoring
I have never taken a German class before but I grew up in Germany and I believe I could be helpful to this subject.
Physics I Tutoring
I have taken Physics classes for three years now and it is my favorite subject. Physics 1 was the introduction to physics and was enjoyable to me because of its ease.
Pre Calculus Tutoring
Pre Calculus was mostly like Algebra 2 to me with more applications. This class was somewhat challenging to me in high school but now that I have taken calculus classes, I got to use more of the topics I learned from pre calculus which improved my understanding of this class.
Algebra Tutoring
All my classes require algebra and I use algebra almost every day in school. This class is really essential for math and science majors and I enjoy tutoring algebra because it's the building block of math.
Algebra II Tutoring
All my classes require me to be proficient at Algebra 2 because without it, I wouldn't be able to do Physics. I took this class in 9th grade and I tutored high schoolers before in this subject. It's a fairly easy class once you get the hang of it.
Calculus Tutoring

Pre Algebra Tutoring
I took pre algebra in 7th grade and my teacher moved me to algebra after the first week of school. This class is not hard at all to tutor and I sometimes even throw in algebra 1 topics to my students to prepare them for the next class.
