Fun Facts
One of my favorite things is music. I love to play in bands and go to live shows. Although I moved to Chicago recently, I spent most of my life in a town of less than 20,000 people. I've been to Ireland 10 different times.
About Me
I am a junior at chicago">Loyola University Chicago double majoring in Mathematics and Physics. I'm currently on track to graduate cum laude. My end goal is to get involved in Physics research and move on to graduate school.
Experience
While I was in high school, I pioneered my school's first peer chicago">tutoring program, in which my classmates and I would chicago">tutor underclassmen who were struggling in various class subjects. I was the leader of this program for two years. After that, I helped the chicago">tutoring center at Harper Community College while I was earning my associates. I hope I can use my experience to help more students reach their educational goals.
Approach
I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was in kindergarten, so I had a hard time focusing on my classes growing up. Through quite a bit of trial and error, I found many routines and strategies that helped me overcome this and succeed academically. I believe that any student can understand math and science, despite being some of the most notoriously disliked subjects. I love these subjects and hope that I can use some of my experience and knowledge to help others succeed.

Math & Physics
Calculus I Tutoring
I passed AP Calculus AB (which is equivalent to Calculus I) with an A and received a 5 on the AP test. I have experience through Calculus 1, 2, and 3 and am currently majoring in Mathematics. I have tutored Calculus I for a total of 3 years.
Calculus 2 Tutoring
I passed Calculus II at the college level with a B+. I have tutored this subject for a total of 2 years. I am currently majoring in Mathematics
Calculus 3 Tutoring
I was proficient in Calculus III at the college level. I used the information in this class throughout my current college career and have tutored this subject since. I am currently majoring in Mathematics.
College Algebra Tutoring
I passed College Algebra during my sophomore year of high school with an A. I use this subject every day while taking higher level math courses. I am currently majoring in Mathematics.
Math Tutoring
I have taken math classes through Differential Equations. I am currently majoring in Mathematics and taking upper level mathematics courses. I have a 3.5 GPA in my major.

I have taken math classes through Differential Equations. I am currently majoring in Mathematics and taking upper level mathematics courses. I have a 3.5 GPA in my major.

I have taken AP Physics (Physics I equivalent) as well as Physics II. I currently have a 3.5 GPA in my major and I am continuing to take more advanced Physics classes.

I took Spanish I in high school and in college and received an A both times. I speak some Spanish, but am not fluent. I have knowledge through Spanish II.
Middle School Math Tutoring
I have tutored math subjects from Algebra I to Calculus II, including geometry and trigonometry. I am currently majoring in Mathematics. I have a 3.5 GPA in my major.
Guitar Tutoring
I have played guitar for nearly 10 years. I've played individually and with several bands. I have performed live and done studio recordings. My main genres are rock and metal.
Music Theory Tutoring
I studied AP Music Theory in high school. I received a 4 on the AP test. I continue to apply Music Theory to composing original songs on a regular basis.
