Fun Facts
I love to be creative. I make all of my Halloween costumes including monster makeup, I love baking and decorating cakes, and I especially love to draw. I have zero hand-eye coordination, but I love to run and would like to be able to complete a marathon one day.
About Me
I am a Junior Neuroscience major at Texas Christian University. I am on the pre-med track and hopefully will continue on to medical school or graduate school after I finish my degree. My passion is to work with children, so I hope to specialize in pediatrics.
I have been tutoring on the side all through school, even as a young child when I helped my little brother with his math homework. I had a lot of experience tutoring my friends in high school in physics and pre-cal. I also used to edit papers and give tips for a creative writing class. Nowadays, I lead study groups and test reviews with my classmates.
My tutoring style is pretty simple, I like to make things easier to remember. I often come up with unique mnemonics for different facts and I like to organize my notes with pictures and diagrams so that the information is easily accessible. I believe that hard work and practice are the best keys to learning, but that it should also be fun and not overwhelming.
