Fun Facts

I enjoy traveling to different places for both leisure and as a
learning experience. My wife and I have taken trips to different
parts of the United States and Canada with our children and on
our own. Most recently we visited Ireland and Italy using different
tour companies with other people in our group, which made the
trips more interesting and enjoyable. I am an only child but now
have three children and two grandchildren. One of my challenges
in school was in Math and higher level A

About Me

I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and a Masters
in Education with a Colorado Teaching License, K-12. Prior to my
teaching experience, I worked as a Mental Health Clinician/Therapist
and Instructor in a hospital and mental health center settings in
Colorado and a mental health center in New York. I have been
able to use my education and continuing career experiences to
work with and help students and young adults in both mental
health as well as education.

Experience

I have been a teacher for Special Needs and General Education
students in New York and Colorado for the past 30 years. During that
time, I was a Classroom Teacher, Case Manager, and an Alternative
Career Education Coordinator helping students with job preparation
skills and placement. Most recently, I have been teaching students
on an individual basis in all subject areas with a local school district.
Working for Frog denver">Tutors would give me the chance for an online
teaching experience.

Approach

My own experience in school has been one of the main
reasons for my becoming a teacher. Positive experiences in
high school and college have helped me see the value of great
teaching. I enjoy helping students of any age to become more
confident in all subject areas and to teach them how to Improve
their skills and their performance. My favorite areas of instruction
are in English and Social Studies. My goals are to help students
improve their Reading, Writing and understanding of how
