Fun Facts

When I was young my father bought me a violin. At the time I had little interest in learning to play it, but today I am incredibly grateful he showed this to me. Today I am a studio musician, and I have recorded with artists including Sarah Simmons, Tori Tollison, and a member of the band Bigstar. I have traveled moderately, and am well versed in adapting to new cultures and interacting with new people. I'm excited to meet you!

About Me

From the age of 3 I was homeschooled by my parents. I owe a great deal of my education to my mother as I graduated highschool at 14 and was accepted into mountain-college">Blue Mountain College at the young age 16. I transferred to Visible Music College in 2009 and am currently the first violin major on campus. I hope to succeed in the music industry, although I have entertained the idea of law school as a fallback. While pursuing these careers I ultimately seek to grow as an individual and make a positive difference in the lives of others.

In the past I have tutored college, elementary, and middle school levels of English, mathematics, the arts, music theory, and theological studies. I also have a great amount of experience teaching the violin to all ages. Teaching on a one on one level has been something I have done for over 6 years.

I am patient and willing to work through anything with a student. No matter how long it may take. In my experience, thus far, I believe the best memphis">tutor is the one who can let learn, and not just teach!
