Fun Facts
One thing that I find unique about myself is that I love video games, however, I rarely play them. Instead I tend to watch other people play the games that I want to play (most of my day is spent on YouTube, even if I'm not looking at the screen)I also really enjoy digitally drawing, despite the fact that I am an awful drawer. I still push on though! The same goes with singing; I love it, but I'm not good at it.
About Me
I am currently a freshman at UTDallas studying Biology in hopes on becoming a Neonatologist. I received an Associated Degree in Science my senior year, and actually graduated community college before I graduated high school!
Experience
I have previously assisted and tutored some of my peers during Sophomore year in Geometry. Also, recently I went back to my old school and helped dallas">tutor kindergartners and 1st graders who were falling behind in English and Math. I really enjoyed helping others, and hope to continue doing so!
Approach
As an extremely shy person, I know how it is to struggle but not have the guts to show others you are struggling and to ask for help. Many kids do not receive the help they need during a 45 minute class, as not everyone can learn at the same level. I want to give students that extra opportunity to go over what they may have missed or just don't understand, and let them know that it's okay to let people know that they need help.

Biology
Chinese Tutoring
I have taken 3 years of Chinese starting from Sophomore year, and received top scores in my class. I received a chord during Graduation for receiving a high score on the Chinese AAPPL. I also recently went to China over the summer for a Chinese Immersion trip.
English Tutoring
English is one of my strong points. I have always done well in English class, whether it was high school English or college level English. I received a 3 on the English Lit. AP test without being in the class or having preparation for the test.
Homework Coach Tutoring
I understand how hard it can be to do homework and stay concentrated. I have struggled in the past, but found ways to keep me from straying. I can assist in helping students stay focused on the task at hand, and push through the homework that they thought was difficult.
Elementary Math Tutoring
I have done well in Math despite not having proper teachers. I taught myself most of the information, and was able to push through my struggles and manage to make high grades.
