Fun Facts
I love eating and trying new food as well as learning about different cultures, languages, religions, and etc. I am a little bit of a technology geek and I love listening to instrumental music (no vocals). I am the oldest child in my family and I've been to over 10 states and 5 countries.
About Me
I am a student at the University of Texas at Dallas. I am a Biology Major with hopes of earning a Bachelor of Science. I wish to go to Med School and become an orthopedic surgeon.
Experience
In the senior year, we had an after school program where the seniors would dallas">tutor freshman and middle schoolers that needed help with school and classes. Also, I was ahead of all my peers in my grade in math, so many people had come to me for assistance in Pre Cal and AP Calculus. I had made a Facebook group chat for AP Physics C and AP Chemistry in which I would help people with there homework, although I spent most of my time on Chemistry.
Approach
I was naturally gifted at education, so I never had to find a way to learn and study. In the later years of high school, that negatively impacted me, so I had to find ways to overcome that challenge. Some damage was done to my GPA but it gave me valuable experience for studying and will greatly help me in college, and I would love to share my methods with other students, so they do not have to struggle as much as I did.

Biology
Algebra Tutoring
I have always been good at math and I have tutored many of my peers in various math subjects. I loved algebra so much that I bought a book and self taught myself algebra when I was nine years old. I have taught my brother algebra when he was in the fifth grade.

AP Chemistry Tutoring
I have been gifted in Chemistry and found it easy. I have gotten As on all but 2 or 3 exams in AP Chem. During the school year we would have online homework and reviews. I made a Facebook group and I was the main person assisting my peers. Chemistry is one of the major classes I need to take in order to study for the MCAT, so I will have to high knowledge in all types of chemistry.
Calculus Tutoring
I have taken AP Calculus BC 2 years ago and I have earned a 5 on both the AB and BC portions of the 2015 exam. I was one year ahead (two with some) in math classes when compared with the rest of grade. So when my classmates took AP Calculus senior year, many of them asked me to help them with homework or test reviews. And two of my friends I tutored them in Calculus after school and they both earned a 5 on the AP exam.

Geometry Tutoring
I have taken one year of Geometry and have received an A in both semesters. I tutored a few friends in ninth grade in Geometry. While Geometry isn't my favorite subject, I am knowledgeable on it, and willing to teach it to others.
Physics Tutoring
Physics is a heavy math based science, which I am great in. I have taken 2 years of Physics, including AP Physics C both in which I have received As for the entire year. Physics is on the MCAT, so I need to greatly study it, so I will have knowledge on the subject. Teaching the material requires for me to understand it, helping me for the future.
Pre Calculus Tutoring

I am studying Biology and wish to do a Bachelor of Science with hopes of going into Medical School. This requires for me to have a great knowledge of science materials. In all the science classes I have taken, I have never received a grade lower than an A for the semester.

Study Skills Tutoring
I didn't need a study skill in middle school, however, when I went to high school I realized that I was wrong, and learned the value of good study skills. While I fixed that mistake, it impacted me negatively. And wish to help others fix that mistake and not mess up like I did. So I believe that I can use my anecdotes to help others, and my AP Psych professor asked me to talk to underclassmen and teach them study skills and etc.

Flute Tutoring
I have played flute for 4 years. When I was in Middle School in IA, our middle school band would perform every year at an entertainment park. Every year since 2000, out Middle School was either first or second place, and we had rigorous training in music.
