I'm passionate about games and math! I love playing pool, chess, video games, tennis, and soccer. I am the oldest of 3. I also play the guitar, cello, and percussion.

About Me

I am a senior at the University of Texas at Dallas, I am a mathematics major and pursuing a masters in applied mathematics. I want to become a mathematician or a teacher someday.

Experience

I am currently a math dallas">tutor for the University of Texas at Dallas, I have done one on one dallas">tutoring in a college environment for 2 years. I am also an undergrad learning assistant( Teaching Assistant) starting this upcoming fall for calculus 3.

Approach

Going through school from K-12 I noticed that most teachers only teach students to pass standardized test, they make students memorize formulas and students are left without a deep understanding of the subject. This makes their understanding more difficult because over time the simple tricks that are learned to pass a question are forgotten. This leaves children with poor fundamentals and struggling with their classes. I feel students should be thought to learn the material deeply.
