One thing people can see I'm passionate about is sports, I enjoy playing and watching. Especially basketball.
About Me
I'm a senior at UIC and my major is Sociology, but I've took some business classes such as economics both micro and macro and I've also taken some math classes the highest level of math I took was business calculus. I've maintained at least a 3.0 through out my college career. I graduate May of 2017.
Experience
I've tutored children and the YMCA and throughout my college career my peers come to me asking for help understanding the curriculum. They say I make the lessons easy and fun to learn. Also when I was in high school I offered my tutoring services to the children in my neighborhood and I helped them with homework and specific subjects they were struggling in and all of their parents were happy with the results of my tutoring.
Approach
All of my life learning things was easy to me. I have the ability to learn things then explain them in many different ways using all types of examples. I try to break it down step by step explaining not just how to do something, but why it's done that way. Also I've been told that my study tips on memorizing facts are helpful.

Algebra Tutoring
I've taken All required math classes and passed them all with nothing less than a B. In college I've taken Intermediate Algebra and received an A, Math 140 and received a B, and a business calculus class that I received a C.

I've always had a gift with writing. I won third place in state for a book writing contest when I was in the third grade. I've been writing A papers since middle school and have developed hacks to writing papers. In college I've taken over 9 English classes and never received less than a B in any of them

During my years of education I have picked up a lot of study skills. I've also learned that everyone learns different and sometimes it's not what a person learns, but how they learn it that effects their ability to retain the information. Also I've developed very good patience and enjoy teaching people new things and helping them understand things they find difficult to learn.
