Fun Facts
Something that people learn real quick about me is that I love spending time with my pets. I love going to the beach whenever I can and enjoy playing tennis. I also love reading science and history books on my free time.
About Me
I am a recent graduate from Florida International University. I graduated on the Spring 2016 semester with a BS in Biology and a BA in Chemistry. I have been on the Dean's List for 5 years in a row! I am currently preparing for my medical school application in order to apply next year. My goal is to become a Radiologist.
Experience
I have served for almost two years as a General Chemistry Lab instructor at FIU. I was in charge of explaining all of the content for the session and make sure all the students fully understood the lab experiment. Recently I started working as a miami">tutor at the Center for Academic Success at the university's Learning Center, where I was given the opportunity to help students in the areas of Biology and Chemistry college level courses.
Approach
I have found through my experience that most of the time the problem is that the students do not seem to read properly enough to fully comprehend the material, so most of my time a dedicate to teach my students how to properly analyze and breakdown the content for each course. I also reinforce this technique with a positive attitude and encouraging my students to do better and be their best self.
