• Establish and maintain effective community employment contacts and sites for persons with disabilities
• Provide job coaching for participants that have obtained community employment

Substitute Teacher Portage Township Schools 08/02 – Present
• Oversee classroom for absent teachers
• Follow lesson plans left by teacher
• Handle discipline issues within classroom
• Communicate with other teachers
• Ensure safety of students

Approach

As I child I struggled in school and found learning to be difficult and was teased and bullied a lot. I had a teacher in 4th grade who helped me by encouraging me to try my best at all times. I then became more successful in school. I always try to encourage my students and use a lot of hands on activities.
