About Me

I graduated December 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a chemistry minor, Magna Cum Laude from Texas Christian University. I was also in the Honors College. I will be attending Baylor College of Dentistry this coming fall! I am a very positive person and I believe everyone has the potential to succeed in anything they dream of as long as they put in the time and effort to achieve!

When I first meet a student, I like to get to know where they stand in class and see which areas they need the most help with. Before a tutoring session I ask what specific subject matter they are studying at the moment (for example if I am tutoring chemistry, the specific subject matter could be naming compounds) so that I may refresh and be as prepared as possible for the student prior to the session. I am very positive and patient in my teaching style and I try to have the student teach me to gage if they are really grasping the material.
