About Me
Greetings! My name is AJ and I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of New Haven. I am currently in the process of going back to school for a 2nd degree for a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. When I finish Nursing school my goal is to ultimately become a Nurse Anesthetist.
Experience
While I attended high school and college i tutored other students in Math, including Algebra I and II, in Biology and Chemistry as well as Criminal Justice totally 6 years of tutoring experience.
Approach
As a student I have always enjoyed school and it fueled my yearn to go back to school for Nursing. I've always enjoyed Math and Science and have always enjoyed helping others understand because these are not easily subjects to understand. I find joy in seeing the "lightbulb" go off for someone when they finally comprehend. Every tutoring session I've been involved in I bring an energy that is unmatched and breakdown material so that it is simple to understand.

Nursing
Pre Algebra Tutoring
Pre-Algebra is the pre-cursor for all Algebra Courses. I received an A in almost every math course I've taken from high school through college and have always enjoyed Math. Recently I took the Hesi A2 exam for Nursing school admissions and received a 98% on a total of 55 questions in the math section.
French Tutoring
I started learning French in Middle school and fell in love with the language! I've take French I, II, III, and IV and continue to keep up with my conversational skills

I completed Anatomy & Physiology I online and received a B in the subject. Anyone that has taken an online science course knows that it is 5 times more difficult than an inclass course. This course is tough but I'm confident in my ability to help student comprehend the complex knowledge required to do well in Anatomy & Physiology

Study skills rely on two key principles and that is ORGANIZATION and REPETITION. If you hone in on these two skills any subject is easy to master. studying should increase your confidence and I've learned a few ways to help me master it. Using these skills helped me graduate high school with honors, graduate from college with honors and continue in my journey of receiving another degree in Nursing.
