I recently discovered I love stand-up paddle boarding in a river or large lake! the best part is when you have made it a far distance and you stop, pull out your favorite book and bask in the sun with friends!

About Me

I just graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics. Throughout my time in university, I co-authored publications in the journal of Mathematical physics, the Journal of Applied Physics, and Journal of the Mechanical Behavior of Biomedical Materials for my work as an undergraduate. I am currently delving into a career in research ethics while tutoring part-time to keep myself mentally sharp.

Experience

I was an in-person tutor of the Math Department at my university, so I have experience with tutoring older students in a range of areas. I also have 8+ years experience tutoring students of a wide age rage and skill level.

Approach

I am a patient tutor who knows the frustration of learning a universally disliked subject. Tutoring with me means you learn the material better while simultaneously nurturing an appreciation for the axiomatic principles that govern a mathematical space. I like to get to know what learning techniques best suit my students, and cater to them. I also really enjoy encouraging independence and creativity in the way students approach a mathematical exercise.
