Fun Facts
I love to travel, which has led me to study abroad in Barcelona and intern in a city called Aachen in Germany. While traveling, I also love to take photographs, which I've been doing as a hobby since middle school. I also love music and watching cute animal videos.
About Me
I'm currently a grad student at UC Berkeley studying Structural Engineering. For college, I went to Brown University, where I completed a dual degree (Sc.B. in Materials Engineering and B.A. in History of Art and Architecture). There, I graduated magna cum laude and was elected to several honors societies (Sigma Xi, Phi Beta Kappa).
Experience
I have worked as a teaching assistant in college for courses in a wide range of departments, including science/california/berkeley">Computer Science, Engineering, and Art History. I've also tutored middle school through college students in everything from math (algebra, trigonometry, calculus) to Spanish to physics to SAT test prep.
Approach
I try to break things down into the most accessible form, paying close attention to the individual student's interests or learning style. After walking through some examples to illustrate the ideas, I like to let the student take charge for a while to try to solve the same types of problems independently -- I've found that that really helps their confidence!

MastersCalculus I Tutoring
I was the teaching assistant for a course on MATLAB and its applications for the hard sciences and engineering over three years as an undergraduate.

I have taken multivariable calculus and linear algebra at the college level, and have received A's in both. I have also tutored in single-variable calculus at the college level.

As an engineering major, I have taken physics courses spanning from statics and dynamics to electricity and magnetism, and received A's in all of those courses.
