Algebra Tutoring

Being a freshman in college, I find that I am still fresh out of high school allowing to help with high school content. While in middle school and high school, I took rigorous math courses and scored well. I have the experience tutoring students in pre-algebra and algebra. With algebra comes the prep for pre-calculus which I am also able to assist in.

Government Tutoring

I am a politics, philosophy and economics major with a soon to be concentration in Government so this is my favorite course to tutor. I have taken two years of government courses and am currently in one this semester. I have taken the AP exam for this course as well so I am confident in helping prep for that if the student is interested.

Homework Coach Tutoring

Being a student that had a heavy course load, I understand how homework can be intimidating. I am able to help with scheduling/time management as well as techniques to help homework go smoother. I have experience with being a homework coach before to multiple high school students.

Pre Algebra Tutoring

Reading Comprehension Tutoring

I, myself once struggled in this department so I am able to relate to students and understand what complications they are facing. I have the experience to help them overcome this obstacle. While tutoring this subject, I am able to help students become stronger readers.

Spanish I Tutoring

I have been enrolled in spanish classes for five consecutive years now. I am confident in tutoring the lower levels of this language which includes Spanish I. I am able to help with pronunciation, conjugating verbs and memorizing vocabulary as well as much more.

Study Skills Tutoring

Studying can be boring and dry at times, but I can help brighten it up and make studying more achievable. Taking difficult courses can be daunting, but I have the personal experience of doing so. Being a tutor in this subject, I am able to help with time management and new study techniques that will help students eventually achieve higher test scores and absorb the course material.

English Tutoring

I have taken English every year while in middle school and high school, constantly being placed in classes at the honors level. I have experience in reading techniques and writing papers as well as grammar and spelling. I also have a significant collection of books, so I am familiar with most texts.

History Tutoring

History is my favorite subject, mainly because it is the most interesting to me. My passion in this subject helps me tutor students because I find that the more I am dedicated to the subject, the better help I can provide. I have tutored history in the past including course material of US History, World History, Geography and more.

Middle School Math Tutoring

I have experience and knowledge in areas of math that include pre-algebra and algebra for middle school students. I have tutored students in the past in these subject matters and find that giving students to correct learning tools can help them succeed. I have tested quite well in most of my math classes so I have confidence in the course content.

Writing Tutoring

I have experience tutoring writing in areas of editing essays, helping with proposals and also assisting in organization in writing. I, myself used to struggle with writing so I find that tutoring this subject, I can relate to the student more. I have since learned new techniques to become a better and stronger writer.

Elementary Math Tutoring

I have taken all of the math related courses in elementary and middle school which includes first to eighth grade. I scored quite high on all of my exams. My knowledge in elementary math includes the basics all the way up to pre algebra/algebra.

Social Studies Tutoring

I have taken all of the required and most of the elective courses relating to Social Studies including World History, US History and Geography. I tested very well in all the courses, receiving grades of A or higher. I am confident in the material that all of these courses require.
