About Me

I'm a senior at Brooklyn College majoring in Health and nutrition Sciences. I hope to someday be an occupational therapist, owning my own practice.

Experience

Starting in high school, I volunteered at my old elementary school as well at a local daycare center before it was closed down. From there, I've worked as a recreational assistant for PSAL for the past 5 summers, helping maintain order in children ages 8-17.

Approach

As a child, my biggest struggle was math. I always felt that math wasn't for me simply because I never understood it. Getting older, I strengthened my math skills, as well as all other subjects so I know how some students might feel when they aren't able to answer a question right away. Being a tutor would help me to help the student in seeing it's all about focusing; making yourself see every detail in order to see why you've come to the answer by the end of every problem
