About Me
I'm a full time undergraduate at UTSA, pre-physical therapy. I frequently volunteer and shadow in different PT settings.I love to work out and run in various races.
I was offered a job as a Supplemental Instruction Tutor at UTSA, but my class schedule did not match their needs. I often form study groups with other students in my classes and enjoy explaining concepts to them. Many times in the past I have been told by my peers and supervisors that I should consider going into education rather than physical therapy!
I first prefer to figure out how the student learns best (visual, auditory, kinesthetic, etc.) because it helps pinpoint their strengths and weaknesses. I am calm in the face of their frustration and I enjoy the challenge of having to discover new ways to communicate something. If the student learns best with interactive games or practice tests, I am capable of creating them.
