Fun Facts
I consider myself somewhat of a nerd. I love video games, love school, and love computer graphics. (Which is why I’m here. haha) Born in Tulsa, raised in Houston Texas Where I played Baseball most of my life. I always dreamed of play in the Big Leagues, but that dream never panned out. But this has allowed me to discover even bigger dreams that has within the arts and graphic design.
About Me
I am a senior Communication Design major with an emphasis in marketing and 3D animation. I am studying at Oklahoma Christian University and have a GPA of 3.76. I plan on joining a branding and marketing agency or do motion graphics after graduation.
I have had multiple graphic design, web design and print internships.
I am also currently the PR director and graphic designer for my social service club at my university.
Experience
While I have had experience tutoring many different individuals off and on within subjects like design and chemistry. I have also taken tutoring on subjects I have wanted to improve on while I have been a student. Because of this, I feel I can relate to some of the struggles students have with tutoring. Its not always easy asking for help, so I want the people to feel as comfortable as possible in the process.
Approach
Art and Design is not always some you can just pick up some flash cards and start studying. Usually art and design is project orientated and every class is different. That is why I want to makes sure tutor to the individual and there needs.
I want everyone to understand that just because we don't know how to do something doesn't mean we shouldn't try. That is, in my opinion, the best way to learn. I want to go out of my to help you learn those new things. And maybe ill learn something new too.

Communication Design
Adobe InDesign Tutoring
I have used InDesign in many situations and within internships. While I am not required to learn the program for any of my classes, I went out of my way to learn the basics and some advanced features for multi-page layout. If you want to do any print graphic design This program is essential.
Having a firm understanding of Adobe Illustrator really helps to understanding this program.
Adobe Photoshop Tutoring
I have been using Photoshop since high school. One of the first classes we take at my university is an introduction to Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. I continue to use both programs on a day in day out basis as these programs are very basic tools in graphic design that takes a lot of work to master.
Graphic Design Tutoring
This is my main area of study. I live and breath it. While I do have a good understanding of the tools needed for a successful graphic designer, I also understand the process for a good workflow from ideas to final critiques.
Arts Tutoring
My college education within the arts include a wide variety of tools. From drawing and illustration to a large background in art history and design. I believe I can help many students improve within these foundations.
Adobe Illustrator Tutoring
Adobe Illustrator is a core tool in the graphic design. I use to hate it when first learning it. But now I love it and cant put it down. There isn't one project that goes by without me using Illustrator.
Macintosh Tutoring
As a designer, we often use Macs within the profession. I dont know how I could help. But someone needs a run-through of a mac I would be happy to.
