Fun Facts
Before higher education, I wanted to become a chef. Obviously that didn't happen since I am a currently PhD student but my passion for French history and literature kept my love for cooking and baking is still quite alive. My favorite cuisines are French, Spanish, and Lebanese. I have three cats and they are named after French philosophers. When I am not conducting research for my dissertation or teaching, I am usually playing video games.

Approach
As a child, I found writing to be difficult. It was not until high school where I was fortunate to have a teacher who helped me realize my potential as a writer. Now that I am a PhD candidate and college instructor, I make sure to apply the positive attitude I inherited from my advisers to all of my lessons. I teach my students not only history and French but also the skills that will help them be successful inside and outside of the classroom.
