About Me
Hi! I'm Eric, a Sophomore (soon to be Junior) at the Johns Hopkins University majoring in Biomedical Engineering. I hope to go into medicine or research (or medical research) one day, and I'm excited to be here in maryland/baltimore">Baltimore! As an engineer-in-training, most of my days are spent on fairly math-heavy subjects, but I dabble in other areas with a particular fondness for history.
I've been maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutoring for four years now; I started in high school focusing on test prep, and nowadays I maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutor primarily calculus and physics. I maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutor because it provides a unique opportunity to get to know other students and help them in a meaningful way. In much of my coursework, I have received help and advice from my friends and peers; sometimes, it has been crucial in getting through the most difficult material. Plus, I genuinely enjoy maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutoring, and it’s always a nice to see how much I learn along the way.
My maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutoring method is student-oriented. I am there to provide guidance and act as a mentor--the student is the one to dictate what material to cover and the pace they feel comfortable. It is important to me to guarantee thorough comprehension on the part of my students, and I am flexible in my teaching methods. I only ask that you lend me your trust so that I can help you excel.
