Fun Facts
During high school, I was the captain of my varsity bowling team. Though I don't bowl much now, I'm always up for a game when I have the time. Also, I love to play volleyball, tennis, basketball, and football with my friends. Currently, I am learning to play the piano and hope to one day master it. Though I still have a long way to go, I am also trying to learn Japanese.
About Me
I am a pre-med who recently graduated from New Jersey City University (NJCU), within 3 years, with a B.S. in Biology. While attending, I was on the Dean's List every semester. Aside from academics, I was actively involved on campus as the Treasurer of both the Tribeta Honor Society and the American Medical Student Association. I hope to attend medical school and become a great physician.
Experience
During my senior year at NJCU, I tutored for approximately 10-15 hrs/week. Students normally came to me for assistance in the sciences and problems with how to study for their upcoming exams. I thoroughly enjoyed teaching here, it gave me the opportunity to develop a style of teaching and the patience needed to assist students.
Approach
Through my experiences, I've come to realize that the pace and ease at which each student adopts a concept greatly differs. With this in mind, I believe each student requires an individualized approach when teaching in order to ensure their comprehension. I do not teach by giving students answers, but rather by assisting them to develop problem solving skills that will ensure their future success.

Anatomy Physiology I Tutoring
This course was a pre-requisite for me as a Biology major. I received an A in this course and was top of my class. I've tutored this subject many times and helped students develop study skills that allowed them to succeed in the course.
Anatomy Physiology II Tutoring
I received an A in this course and spent a lot of time studying the subject because I needed to extensively understand its concepts as a prospective physician. Also, this was a subject I tutored students in.
Chemistry I Tutoring
Among my first classes taken as a Biology major. I received an A in the course and the majority of students that come to me for tutoring need assistance in either Chem I or Chem II so I am quite experienced in teaching them.
Chemistry II Tutoring
I received an A in this course. As i stated for the Chem I qualification, the majority of students that I tutored came to me for help in Chemistry so teaching it is nothing new to me.
Microbiology Tutoring
Among my favorite courses, I received an A in this course and was top of my class. I was asked specifically by the professor to lead a study group for the class in order to assist the other students. So, I have a great deal of experience in this subject.
Organic Chemistry I Tutoring
One of the toughest subjects in college, but I had a professor who taught it well. I received an A in the course and worked as the class tutor for the next semester class. Also, I enjoyed Organic Chemistry so much I began to do research alongside the professor so it is a subject I am very familiar with.
Organic Chemistry II Tutoring
I received an A in the course and also worked as an in-class tutor for this subject for some time. Organic chemistry is a mandatory subject for any pre-med. student so it is a subject I have familiarized myself with thoroughly.
