Accounting Tutoring

Before I became a communication major, I was a business major. I wanted a Bachelor's in Business Management and the degree required me to take the first three Accounting courses at the collegiate level.

Business Tutoring

Before I switched my major to Professional Communication, I was going for a Bachelor's in Business Management with a focus in Entrepreneurial skills. Communication Tutoring

As a communication major, I took a lot of communication courses. Here are some of the courses I passed with at least a 3.0; Intro to Human Communication, Communication Research Methods, Nonverbal Communication, Communication and Conflict Management, Interpersonal Communication in Organizations, Foundations of Group Communication, Leadership & Events Management, Public Speaking, and Business Communication and Critical Thinking.

Economics Tutoring

I have taken both Microeconomics and Macroeconomics at the college level and received grades of at least 3.0. I have no tutoring experience other than study groups for this area of study, but feel comfortable in assisting students to understand the concepts taught in these courses.

Elementary Statistics Tutoring

I had to actually take this course three times in order to pass the course. It was all online and I went over the same problems multiple times. I only passed the class with a 2.9 the third time, but I feel that I am well versed in this topic and can help students understand the concepts.

English Tutoring

I loved my English professor and took all of the courses they had to offer at my community college, before I became a communication major. As a tutor for Best in Class Education, I helped students go through English packets and homework weekly. I feel that English and Communication are the topics I am most understanding of. Here are some of the English courses I passed with at least a 3.0; English Composition 101 & 102, Advanced Composition, Creative Writing, Management Writing, and Electronic Portfolio.

GED Tutoring

As a 16 year old I took the placement test for college to do Running Start and passed all sections, except for Math. I then took the required math courses, plus some, in college. I assisted my friend in studying for the GED, and I graduated High School with a 3.2. I feel I am knowledgeable in all topics at at least a high school level, to assist students in studying for their GED test.

I have passed both Spanish 102 and Spanish 103 at a college level. I studied 4 semesters of Spanish in high school. I also traveled to Spain and learned Spanish from a 2 - 1 month Spanish Intensive courses where I was not allowed to speak English and was immersed in the Spanish culture.

I have helped tutor a student at the middle school level who had dyslexia, using a new type of font that helps with that disorder. I also helped all through elementary school in getting other students into reading with March of Dimes and study groups.

Microsoft Excel Tutoring

I passed Microcomputer Application in Business with at least a 3.0. In this course I learned about and perfected my skills in Microsoft Office; Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. My father was a naval officer in the Navy, and an Electrical Engineer, he taught me the great benefits of using Excel for everything, we had time sheets for almost every event of my childhood.

Microsoft PowerPoint Tutoring

I passed Microcomputer Application in Business with at least a 3.0. In this course I learned about and perfected my skills in Microsoft Office; Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. PowerPoint is my favorite Microsoft Office tool. In my college courses I was often required to make PowerPoint Presentations and I perfected the timing of the slides with audio and visual, including videos.

Microsoft Word Tutoring

As a Communication major, I have needed to use Microsoft Word for all of my documents and assignments. I have experience writing all types of letters, including; white letters, bibliographies, annotations, proposals, summaries, resumes, cover letters, etc. I use Word for nearly every assignment, job application, and well-thought out letters to whom it may concern. I feel I would be a great tutor in assisting any students with this topic of study.
