Fun Facts
While an undergraduate in college my dad helped pay for my education. The catch was that I would participate with him in is hobby: running. Not any kind of running, but long distance running. That is, ultramarathons (32 miles or more) through the mountains of Virginia and West Virginia. In total I have run 40 miles twice, and 32 miles five or more times.
About Me
I am currently pursuing a Ph D in physics at the University of Texas at Dallas. I enjoy interacting with students, and helping others understand difficult concepts. I own a house in Little Elm Texas, am married to a wonderful woman named Sara, have a three year old son, and enjoy mowing the lawn.
I have been a teaching assistant at UT Dallas for the previous eight semesters. Specific duties involved oversight of physics labs at the freshman-sophomore level. This entailed delivering a "mini-lecture" at the beginning of each lab, and grading student's submitted lab reports. During this semester and the previous one I have been the teaching assistant for undergraduate quantum mechanics.
My approach to dallas">tutoring is patience, and persistent effort. I believe that anymore can learn anything: if given proper guidance. No matter how difficult a subject may be, you can learn, and with dedicated effort, become its master.
